Flosonics Medical announced a development contract, valued at up to $70 million, with the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA), part of the Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. The contract includes initial funding of approximately $15 million and supports FloPredict, an AI-enabled software enhancement to the company’s FDA-cleared FloPatch device, extending the company’s real-time ultrasound technology into trauma care and mass casualty response.
Exact Imaging delivered 166% year-over-year revenue growth in its first 12 months following a strategic transition from a single international distribution model to a direct sales and expanded distribution network approach. The company also strengthened its North American direct sales team, and the body of peer-reviewed literature supporting ExactVu now exceeds 140 published papers.
MolecuLight and The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust announced the publication of the first clinical study evaluating fluorescence imaging during orthopaedic surgery. The prospective 10-patient pilot extends MolecuLight’s clinical evidence base beyond chronic wound care into perioperative surgical applications.

Marble launched a dedicated medical records service for claimants under the Pan-Canadian Claimants’ Compensation Plan, the $2.521 billion fund for eligible claimants outside Quebec under Canada’s tobacco settlement, working with plan agent Epiq to gather the medical evidence eligibility turns on.
Segmed provided the data behind a new paper with Stanford University and the University of Washington School of Medicine, published in The International Journal of Cardiovascular Imaging, which tested 54 large language model configurations on cardiac imaging reports and found that open-weight models can approach the agreement of expert radiologists.
