About the author
The first-time author is a native Houstonian. Prior to becoming an author, she had a successful and rewarding career in nursing. After 40 years in nursing, she retired and was able to pursue her interest in writing. Her other hobbies include painting, crafts, football, and fishing. As this is her first novel, it is set in the city she loves: Houston, which provides a comfort zone of familiarity for her writing. Houston will be prominently featured as the backdrop for future projects.
