Through an exclusive agreement with AiPower Corp., the brands will once again be available to retailers, distributors, and OEM partners. The relaunch will feature engines and finished gas-powered equipment, with a strong initial focus on snow removal products.

TecumsehPower traces its roots to 1895, when the company began as the John Lauson Tractor Company and produced its first engines that year. It later became renowned for high-quality 2- and 4-cycle engines sold under the Lauson Power Products and TecumsehPower names. At its peak, TecumsehPower engines powered the majority of snow blowers in North America, earning a reputation for exceptional cold-weather starting and reliable performance across major equipment brands.

The new agreement encompasses TecumsehPower, Snow King, and Lauson brands, covering both engines and complete outdoor power equipment. The flagship offering will be Snow King–branded snow blowers equipped with TecumsehPower engines.

Product development is underway, with commercial availability planned for the 2026–2027 snow season. The lineup will expand beyond snow equipment to include additional chore and utility tools, while TecumsehPower engines will also be offered to OEM partners.

The return of these iconic brands brings strong legacy recognition and credibility to the outdoor power equipment (OPE) industry, providing retailers and distributors with trusted names that resonate with consumers in the snow, lawn, and garden categories.
