Glenfarne Group, LLC (“Glenfarne”), a global developer, owner and operator of energy infrastructure assets, today announced the appointment of Kristin “Kris” Cole as Head of Communications, effective immediately.

Cole joins Glenfarne as the company continues to expand the scale and ambition of its global platform across LNG, power and renewables in the United States and Latin America. In the newly created role, she will lead Glenfarne’s global communications strategy, including corporate reputation, media relations, executive communications, internal communications and stakeholder engagement across the company and its businesses.

Brendan Duval, CEO and Founder of Glenfarne, said, “Kris has advised our team for years and already understands our business, our culture and how we approach complex challenges. She has been in the room with us through consequential moments, and I have seen firsthand the judgment, energy and candor she brings. Having her join the company is a natural next step as we set our sights even higher.”

Cole comes to Glenfarne from Prosek Partners, where she served as a Managing Director advising CEOs, founders, boards and senior leadership teams on corporate reputation and positioning. Her work ranged from building corporate brands, executive profiles and long-term media and thought leadership programs to navigating major transactions and high-stakes financial, regulatory and operational matters. She worked across energy and infrastructure, financial services and professional services in the United States and international markets.

Prior to her role with Prosek, Cole was a Vice President at The Abernathy MacGregor Group, advising companies through transactions, crises and other business-transformative events, including more than two dozen M&A transactions with a combined value exceeding $40 billion.

Cole said, “Glenfarne takes on infrastructure projects of a scale and difficulty that few companies would attempt, let alone have the expertise and determination to deliver. Having worked alongside Brendan and the team for years, I’ve seen that combination of ambition and execution firsthand. I’m excited to join Glenfarne and help build the reputation and relationships that will support its continued growth.”
